good&found ("good&found," "we," "us," or "our") provides founder-first marketing services, pitch decks, brand strategy, GTM strategy, and growth work, to startups and founders around the world, operating from Qatar. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through goodandfound.com (the "Site") and our related services, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have.
By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site or submit information to us.
1. Who We Are
good&found is operated by Avneet, based in Qatar, serving founders globally. For any privacy questions, you can reach us directly:
Email: avneet@goodandfound.com
We act as the "data controller" (the party responsible for deciding how and why your personal data is processed) for the information described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to run the Site, respond to you, and deliver our services.
a) Information you give us directly
Contact details: name, email address, and any other information you share when you reach out, book a call, or fill in a form (including the "Get in touch" and deck-review submission flows)
Business and pitch materials: pitch decks, business documents, or other files you voluntarily upload (for example, through our "Is your deck investor-ready?" review form)
Communications: anything you send us by email or through our contact channels
b) Information collected automatically
Location data: general location information (such as country or region, typically inferred from your IP address) used to understand where our visitors and clients are based and to tailor outreach and content
Usage and device data: pages visited, referring site, browser type, device type, and similar technical data, collected via standard analytics tools
Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 6 below
We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of data (such as health, financial account numbers, or government ID numbers) through the Site, and we ask that you avoid including such details in anything you send us unless specifically required for a service engagement.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Respond to inquiries and communicate with you about our services
Review and evaluate pitch decks or business materials you submit for feedback
Deliver, manage, and improve client engagements
Understand where our audience is located and tailor our content and outreach accordingly
Maintain, secure, and improve the Site
Meet legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use your pitch deck or business content to train any third-party AI models.
4. Confidentiality of Pitch Decks and Business Materials
We understand that a pitch deck or business plan is often a founder's most sensitive asset. Any deck, document, or business material you share with good&found, whether through our website form, email, or during an engagement, is treated as confidential, is used only to provide you feedback, deliverables, or the service you requested, and is:
Never sold, licensed, or shared with third parties for their own marketing or commercial use
Never shared with other clients, investors, or competitors without your explicit written permission
Accessible only to the people at good&found directly working on your request
Retained only as long as needed to complete the engagement or as described in Section 8, then deleted or anonymized
If you'd like a signed NDA before sharing sensitive materials, just ask: avneet@goodandfound.com.
5. Legal Basis for Processing (for visitors in the EU/UK/EEA)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or another jurisdiction requiring a legal basis for processing, we rely on:
Consent: for example, when you voluntarily submit a form or upload a deck
Legitimate interests: for example, responding to inquiries, improving the Site, and understanding our audience, balanced against your rights
Contract performance: where processing is necessary to deliver a service you've engaged us for
Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law
6. Cookies and Tracking
Our Site, built on Framer, uses cookies and similar technologies to:
Remember basic preferences and site functionality
Understand aggregate visitor behavior (e.g., which pages are visited, general location, referral source) through analytics tools
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality, but the Site will remain usable.
We do not currently use cookies for third-party advertising or ad retargeting. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent first.
7. Third-Party Services We Use
We rely on a small number of trusted third-party tools to run the Site and our services. These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes:
Framer: website hosting and infrastructure
Google Forms: used for our deck-review submission form
Email providers: to receive and respond to your messages
Analytics tools: to understand aggregate Site usage
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary:
Inquiries and contact details: retained while we're in active conversation, and for a reasonable period after in case you re-engage, then deleted or archived
Pitch decks and business materials: retained only for the duration needed to provide feedback or complete the engagement, then deleted, unless you ask us to retain them longer or we're required to keep records for legal/accounting reasons
Analytics/usage data: retained in aggregate or anonymized form for reporting purposes
You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time (see Section 9).
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you're located, you may have rights including the ability to:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate information
Delete your information ("right to erasure")
Object to or restrict certain processing
Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
Request a copy of your data in a portable format
This includes rights available under Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016), the EU/UK GDPR, and similar data protection laws in other regions where our clients are based.
To exercise any of these rights, email avneet@goodandfound.com. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including limiting access to sensitive materials (like pitch decks) to only the people working directly on your request. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information protected at every stage.
11. International Data Transfers
Because good&found works with founders globally and uses service providers that may operate in different countries, your information may be processed outside your home country, including in Qatar. Where required, we take steps to ensure such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.
12. Children's Privacy
Our Site and services are intended for founders, business professionals, and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be indicated clearly on this page.
14. Contact Us
If you have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or how your information is handled, reach out anytime:
good&found Email: avneet@goodandfound.com
This policy is provided as a starting point tailored to good&found's current data practices. It is not a substitute for legal advice, we'd recommend a quick review by a lawyer familiar with Qatar's PDPPL and any other jurisdictions your clients are based in (especially GDPR if you take on EU clients) before publishing, to make sure it fully matches your actual data flows and any tools you add later (e.g., a CRM, payment processor, or live chat).
